NinjaRMM vs SolarWinds - Comp looking to switch

2FA & SSO means you can't use the mobile app.

Wrong, on the 2FA side of things anyways. Not sure about SSO.

Patching is a confusing dogs breakfast

If you think patching in N-Central is confusing, good luck with any other major RMM. N-Central is likely the most straight forward, for the essential functions, anyways.

Hosted version (ie SaaS is MORE expensive than non-SaaS p/m)

Why wouldn't it be? I self host and I pay an extra $300/mo for it to live in AWS and have associated backups, etc. Plus, they handle system maintenance, upgrades, etc. There's a value to that.

Documentation rarely up to date / accurate

Never found this to be the case.

I do agree on other points though - OSX and Linux agents are dogshit, mobile devices are meh. I don't particularly care for Take Control, either, but it works.
