What would be the best toolset, (PSA, RMM, Documentation, Security)

We currently use Datto for everything and if Kaseya ruins it I'm going to be livid. We've been using it for a while and I've spent of ton of time getting the PSA dialed in. I've looked at a few alternatives and I don't think any of them compare. To replace Datto's PSA I'd have to use two or three different programs and they still wouldn't add up to getting the same amount of automation and data collection and analysis that I get out of Datto.

It's for exactly that reason, though, that I'd be wary of trying to force it on a shop that isn't sold on the benefits. Datto's PSA is really powerful when you spend the time to get all of the data in correctly, the contracts in correctly, the products in correctly, the configurations in, and everything connected to everything else. I can go to any contract summary or client summary in my PSA and the baked-in profitability report is actually accurate. I've got every cost in there and all of the labor is tied to true, fully-burdened rates. Even within a given client, my line-of-business reporting is accurate. That was not easy to get configured but it's invaluable to me, as a business owner, to make sure we are making the margin we're supposed to make. The other half of what makes it work, though, is that all of my staff are trained to use it correctly and respect the quality of data that they enter. If your shop is resistant to change and not likely to fully participate, you'll have a powerful tool, badly used. For effect, it may as well be a bad tool.
