Let's be honest, if you're betting on a showmatch (glorified scrim) with 2 fairly obscure teams because it's the only action out there today...frankly you might have a problem lol. I use my serious face if you're one of the people who are betting on this as an attempt to mitigate a tough loss. If that's you, step away from the computer, go enjoy the nice weather and be happy you aren't compounding your issues on a cointoss game with no significance.

It's always depressing opening a showmatch thread in here because you see posts like these (there's at least 2 in this thread) and you realize people casually admit to those behaviors without a clue as to how deep they actually are. It'd be different if you're throwing down on this for shits and gigs. But for these dudes, they have to get in because its the only action of the day.

Sorry bout the soapbox but its just sad cuz most of yall doing this are high schoolers (not a bad thing per se, just facts here) and it'll be no different when skin betting turns into chips at a casino or a few bucks on the football game. They won't act like a junkie the first few times at the blackjack table (just like they started betting with small skins), but given enough time without change, they'll revert to their old tendencies. If you can't control yourself--esp. after a big loss-- with virtual items, you're gonna act out 10x worse when the stakes are real and you lose. And that'll turn some of you into the guy who starts gambling with rent money or food money because he needs to recover his losses from the day before. Seriously, if this is you (and I know there's a lot of you that will be coming into this thread), consider using a gambling addiction resource (all over the net) and start right here with changing your behavior when you bet.

ANYways,

skip. skip even if it wasn't a showmatch.
