Yeah. Man, I think Peterson is a fucking putz, but his bad ideas are so bland it just seems embarrassing and counterproductive to attack him so much. The only reason I ever looked him up despite initially finding his view as bad takes, were all the hit pieces that came out. I think it was Pankaj Mishra or something first calling him a fascist, then that super edited Vice interview, and that horrible, horrible NYT interview. The NYT interview was so bad, because he said stupid shit, but it was so sketch and full of the reporter narrating her own interview and that shit, untrustworthy mix of paraphrasing and quoting, I immediately distrusted that he said "forced monogamy" in such shitty context. His explanation of that was so shit, but the fact that I had to go look for a response to that was a testament to how shit the article was.
