I see what you’re saying, but it also seems like a moot point from the perspective of the legislatures holding the hearing.

The article frames the hearing as being about race in school and makes it seem like the republicans are making it all about CRT and neglecting the real purpose of the hearing.

But according to the Republicans… this is a response to constituents reaching out to them about concerns with crt concepts being taught in their schools.

So the hearing does seem to be originally about CRT, catalyzed by parents with students in those age groups who felt their concerns had been ignored by the school.

The headline seems misleading.

Not saying you have to agree with them but I don’t see what the point is in framing it in such a dishonest way.
