Absolutely yes. Absolutely. Could not agree more. Interfering directly in active police business, behaving with blatant stupidity like in this situation, reacting immediately and emotionally, not the ways to go about it. Confrontation breeds confrontation, extremes push to extremes. Push for change, absolutely, just do it the right way. You can't work to change things if a cop's put a hole through your chest or smashed your head against the sidewalk because you got up in his business while he's doing his job or tried to steal evidence on a whim. Political action, reform, public oversight, accountability, yes, absolutely. Slow going unfortunately, but do it properly and do it so it lasts. And do it smart so you don't get yourselves beaten to death in the process.
