Is this normal for full time drivers ? New on Uber

I'm not sure how exactly it works in Canada. You guys mostly don't get tipped, is that right? But you get higher fares?

You're at about $21 per hour. And $14.83 p3r trip, which is good. However, I wonder if you're being a little selective. I average about $11 to $12 per trip. Again, this is US and more tip based. And I typically average $25 an hour and up, though I'm working to raise that. That includes sometimes sitting on my ass for a couple hours in the afternoon. So my actual active hourly pay would be better.

Back to my point. If the orders are there for you to take a few more than are a little(can't stress little enough) lower paying that will keep you busier you might be able to raise your total and hourly earnings.

For someone who were taking too low of orders I would have the opposite advice. Take fewer orders to make more money. Example being for myself when I moved to my new city I was short on money and had a "just stay busy mentality." So I took anything $2 per mile and $6 per order and up. But then I quit taking $6 and $7 orders and sat more but I made more. However, if I were to push that to taking only $10 orders and up I would sit a lot more and make less.

So maybe play with it. In your slower periods see if you can run some slightly lower paying orders. You still want probably $2 a mile and up if you can get it, not every market works like that and my old one didn't. And you still want a minimum total pay for your time. $6 orders really tend to not be worth it.

Those are my thoughts. Maybe tell me what metrics you are using to pick orders and see if it contradicts what I've said. Maybe you are maxing out earnings in your market.

I'll say this. I've all but quit working lunches. Last Tuesday(week ago) I made $25 an hour from noon to 4. But every other lunch last week sucked so bad. I do a lot better starting about 4 pm and working past midnight. But I've got a fair amount of business until maybe 1:30 during the week and 3:00 or 4:00 am on weekends.
