People coming at the dude for getting angry over a t-shirt and saying he’s a child, rude names whatnot we shouldn’t be quick to judge another muslim since only god is the one who judges. We don’t know what’s going on with his life and don’t know what pushed him over the edge. This isn’t a case of somebody who got mad at a t-shirt not being folded. There might be something going on in his life upsets him and he just bottles it in. Unfortunately we talk a lot about sharing emotions and feelings. However most men can’t physically and mentally since being grown up they are taught to deal with it alone. Men don’t cry, etc. this could be a case of the last straw broke the camels back. Also I see a lot of a man shouldn’t put his hands on a women however, there are quranic verses and hadiths that allow a man to hit his wife. Surah nisa verse 34 “And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist,˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺.2 But if they change their ways, do not be unjust to them. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.” Ofc there’s also many Hadith that say to treat their women very well

“ The Best Of You Are Those Who Are Best To Their Women.” — Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1162

In conclusion try to talk to him and see what’s really bothering him. He might be under a lot of stress or he might be dealing with things unbeknownst to you. He shouldn’t lay hands on you without following the steps mentioned in the Quran. Also some Hadiths say that he can only beat you with an item the size of a miswak or two fingers of size.
