Toy Story ... We never see much of a father figure in the homes of the child. SCENE ONE - LIVING ROOM - DAY. The camera pans right to weeping mother and child sitting on floor surrounded by frozen toys. The legs of many adults in authority can be seen walking out the house; we see the father's computer being carried out. The muffled cries of anger and disappoinment of mother can be heard, directed at the father who is being led out in cuffs. Camera pan ends on Woody' s frozen body and face where a single tear falls. Woody had seen it all, helpless and forced to watch the horror from the position he had fallen still. Camera moves in on Woody's eye and into the blackness of the pupil. In the darkness a door opens, the door to the cupboard under the stairs, the place it had always gone down. Camera keeps moving forward following the heels of authority out the door which closes and father is gone. We move up and rest at the door windows where intro credits and score begin.
