[NSFW]What stories do you hardly ever tell because nobody will believe you?

So this is a bit long, but it's one of the wildest stories I remember.

It was new years eve and I was just a little kid. This particular new years we where at some family friends house. So as I was all excited watching the fireworks when I noticed the neighbours, on the opposite end, lighting their bottle rocket. I couldn't wait to see what pattern it would explode in so I watched it closely, and then it tipped. Towards us. The rocket took off and flew straight towards us, and for some reason it held itself steady above the small grassfield as it approached the house. My family and friends just ran to the side to dodge the rocket. But I stood completely still. I was so shocked that I had no idea what to do. Now comes the part that seems like bullshit, and it's kind of why I don't like telling this story. The rocket flew straight between my legs and approached our friends house. Then the rocket just a hard turn and flew straight upwards. At this moment it actually felt like God intervened (and I'm an atheist). It got really close to the house but just took a sharp turn and flew above it. Just when it had passed the roof it exploded. My parents were so worried they ran towards me asking if I was okay. I still remember so clearly the feeling I was left with at that moment. I just nodded in silence. I didn't feel scared. I was a little shocked. But mostly I was just in complete awe of what just happened. I felt wonderful, like I was blessed by a higher power. It could've easily turned out really bad and not just for me. If it had exploded by richocheting off the house, shit could've gotten real. And I know the whole story seems like complete bullshit, but I swear on my family it is what I so vividly remember. Maybe my childish imagination has influenced how it went down when I think of it now, but the images I get when I picture the scenario seems so real. I feel like I couldn't have made it up. I just remember the whole incident so clearly.
