When I was like 18 me and my buddy had just gone to the clinic to pick up some weed and we were driving back which is a good thirty minute drive with rush hour traffic in California. My buddy was like I want to smoke before I got to work. So he packs a bowl while we were driving and we start hitting it well we got through traffic quickly and I said hey let's stop in this neighborhood and finish and then we will leave. So stop and smoke and toss some eyedrops in and we pull away from the curb when a police car is coming right at us and I look to my friend and say fuck this is definitely here for us. So the cop pulls over and he is just being a real sarcastic asshole and making fun of my friend for his bullshit reason to have a med card. Finally he tells us that the man on the corner behind us had been following for us 5 miles and called the cops cause we were smoking while driving. Well I start to plea and almost shed some tears telling him to please forgive us and then I tell him that my dad is a retired police officer instantly his mood changes and tells me to call my dad and to get him over here and I'm like fuck my life. So here I am on the phone telling my dad what happened and he's fucking pissed and then I start giving him directions while I'm high as shit and I'm in some random neighborhood no clue the cross streets I ask the officer what the streets are and he just looks at me and shrugs (fuck you officer) and so we sit there waiting and another officer comes and he waves him off and the officer tells us that he called for another cage because I was going to jail for a dui and my friend was going to jail for giving me weed and he said there was officers at my house waiting for us if the they couldn't find us anymore. So basically if I had gone home I probably would been fucked but my dad showed up and cussed us out and took us home and then he smashed our Bong on the ground (rip it was only 3 days old). Luckily my parents are divorced and my mom never found out about this so if I had gone home my mother would of gone on a rampage.
