Official Discussion: Isle of Dogs [SPOILERS]

Im not saying it’s inherently a problem im saying it invites all kinds of possible problems...which in this case i think it obviously has considering all the backlash. This movie is a political statement about immigration. Also, dont you think its just kind of odd that ALL the dogs are voiced by American actors? Dont you think thats just asking for negative interpretations? If he had a more diverse cast this whole situation wouldnt be reduced to a specifically American/Japanese issue. I dont know why everyone in this discussion gets so upset and downvotes. Im genuinely just trying to figure this out and I think its lazy to ignore any possible insensitivity. Differing opinions dont have to turn into an angry argument. Nobodys right
