Official Q&A for Monday, August 27, 2018

I've just done a Tough Mudder with my other half this weekend and said that if I did finish it, I would go for a run that's being organized next month.

They currently offer 5k/10k/half marathon. While I'm not ready for a half, I wonder if I can pull off a 10? I have 4 weeks, I can run 5k at the moment. This would be my first "race", since most of you know better than I do with things like this, should I aim for the 10k and keep on training or stick with a 5k since that's what I know for now ?

Sorry I know that's probably a silly question, it's probably the stress of going on my first actual race (as great as Tough Mudders are, the obstacles make it probably a pretty different beast )
