Ofo joins Spin and LimeBike warning Seattle riders of brake lines deliberately cut

Gentrification vs The Street.

3rd and Pike is pretty much a permanent modern art piece. Watch commuters stand in the rain while dealers peddle their wares against the Century Square building. Duality

The Church of 7-11 brings underground worshipers from the region to peddle all kinds of shit. Members are frequently lauded as "generic unsavory homeless person". Instead, they could be better labeled as "crime-related shit stains with bored homeless groupies".

It's the only place where I've seen someone bold enough to walk up to an Ofo, cut the brakes, and give no shits as every commuter turns their headphones up to 11.

Maybe I didn't just see that razor blade. Nah, the next rider will be OK. Here's my bus.

There is no easy solution. There isn't even a good long-term stop-gap I can think of. I'm about ready to crowd-fund buying the 7-11/Money Tree/Phone shops and building a yoga studio. Then we could just loathe the Rideshares outside.
