Ohio to end participation in $300-a-week federal unemployment benefits on June 26th

If it is WIOA I dont believe you have to pay it back? It's been months but from what I remember it was basically a program to help people get back on their feet after the pandemic. Kind of like a one shot grant money from the state...so basically its there if you can do it, but if you mess up...you lose your shot but dont have to pay it back. Obv check with your counselor to make sure of that, but if it is WIOA that is how I believe it works. They were pretty vague, but I guess its like this is one shot they'll give for my life...or unless they get future funding in the future. So I was thinking I might put it off until I am more ready maybe in 2022 or 23

But yeah I was looking into all of that as well, Ive just felt pretty demotivated during the pandemic and it didnt help that everything was closed and no one really wanted to help. My OMJ counselor she switched to another department so now they have this younger one who doesnt seem to care as much. Also my community college and everyone is either closed or haven't been helpful (actually my local one is still closed...with no indication when they will reopen).

I dont know what program you are doing, but I am probably looking towards something IT. Problem is I want something in class through an accredited college. So yeah Im waiting to see what will happen. If I cant find another institution I feel comfortable with, I might just relocate and find another program in another state where people might care more (care more about me rather than grant money). I was looking at per scholas program but they aren't located in Ohio I believe. But I am glad you are your journey and you have family support. As of now I am going it alone. And you are right....they should keep all the pandemic checks going until most of the pandemic is gone....or at least until places are open like normal. My local CC is closed indefinitely and omj themselves I believe are fully remote. How to learn in such a way lol....I want to learn where I see people...otherwise I dont know it is very difficult for me to feel motivated or that this is working. But yeah well see, like you said, have to have a strong will to get it done no matter what
