I think there is 'some' truth to blacks being able to be spiritual, but hardly because of melanin, and hardly because of having superior souls.

I also personally believe that women have greater aptitude for it than men. It has to do with men being more prone towards using rational and intelligent decision making, whereas women tend towards more intuitive and emotional thinking.

Just like that, blacks do have increased tendency for using intuition and emotional thinking.

If we're to go even futher down that road though, then asians on average are more intelligent than both whites and blacks and hispanics. Then comes whites, then comes hispanics, and then comes blacks, but this way of looking at things are quite controversial, regardless I still believe it to be true.

If you look at the economic situation of the average black person, you'll see that blacks are, on average, doing more poorly than any other group out there. Whereas asians are doing incredible well. Income level is oftentimes tied to intelligence, it makes sense that if you're more intelligent, then on average you'd get a higher income.

If you look at asian physiology, you'll notice that their brains are larger than any other race out there. Asians are, on average, slower at maturing than other races too, whereas blacks have a faster time reaching maturity but also do not have as large heads. Blacks do have superior physique in many cases, and superior response times to asians and whites. Remember that I'm only generalizing here though - you can obviously find asians with superior physique to blacks and blacks with superior intelligence than asians. Barack Obama can hardly be called unintelligent for instance, and his IQ is likely higher than most asians.

Considering these very controversial facts, I can understand why some blacks would cling to beliefs of having superior souls and the like.
