I... connect with this statement but I'm not entirely sure how. Mid 30s dude, divorced, and I know the stereotype is guys my age lose their sex drive as they get older. I haven't had sex since a 2 month post divorce rebound GF 3 or 4 years ago. Even then I had to have that "just because I'm not in the mood doesn't mean I don't think your attractive" talk.

Hell, I've been single since then and pretty indifferent. I get lonely sometimes, I definitely miss having a partner to share life goals with, but I absolutely don't care that I haven't had sex for so long and the idea of sex with a new person just holds no appeal for me. I still play a little 5 on 1 a few times a month, but even that seems more like a quick release and not like a proper sex drive.
