Out of all the moba inspired board games what one is best?

Solo and 1v1 play led me to Cloudspire. I haven't played a boardgame MOBA yet that really nails it, though. I enjoy Cloudspire, but can completely agree with the barriers. To a degree the same can be said for Too Many Bones.

It's a big, weird conflict for me. On one hand I really dig Chip Theory. Their ideas are peculiar and intriguing, and as far as boutique components go they're certainly shiny. I really enjoy playing their games once the lightbulb goes on. But where it's frustrating to support them is that they've adopted this very Kickstarter mindset of doing tons of dev between campaign close and production go, which leads to errata, update kits, and this perpetual 'living rules' model that we see so many designers starting to use as a crutch. I know I paid to update TMB probably three times before I finally drew a line in the sand. I suppose I prefer continuous support to letting a game rot on the vine or having BGG save it via community mods, but it's tiresome in it's own right.

Especially for folks that get crazy and buy into an entire line of CTG games, if you're dropping $300-500 on a board game then I feel like the QA, which includes mechanics, needs to be air tight.

I'm hoping that the recent additional of former-FFG Navarro will help tidy up some of their logistics. That said he's a bit of a sprawl guy at heart, so I suppose time will tell.
