Do you own a car in the city?

I do. This may be unpopular among some but as a 30 year old, I can’t imagine not owning one. My commute to work would be 45-80 minutes one way without one and not in the safest of areas. My car takes me 15 minutes. It also gives me flexibility to get around easier and explore the outdoors outside the city. I’d feel confined without it. I do pay about $1200 per year for insurance and then city sticker and registration costs. Maintenance is a couple hundred, but I drive a new car (bought last year when used prices were MORE than new). So it’s worked out for me in the long run. My only fear is if I move….right now parking is super easy in my area but I know other areas are a true pain. I also don’t care if it gets dinged or whatever, as I’m trying to drive it til it dies
