For context to anyone who cares or is wondering, I was born in Chicago but my family moved around the Midwest a lot when I was a kid, and we eventually settled down in Peoria, IL. Come around to 2014/15 (I'm 27 but was 20 back then) I met someone from Chicago that I grew best friends with that really convinced me of how great this city is. I gave it deep thought on where I wanted to move to long-term and visited Chicago tens of times for years and just fell in love with it. I manifested myself moving up here. I eventually moved to Bloomington/Normal, IL... lived there for a few years by myself, saved money to move here, but I NEVER paid any attention about the area, I was always reading up on what was happening in Chicago (politics included) and that's my reason for bringing up Rahm. I always read in articles his push for improving the CTA.
