Owner is selling property but not telling employees, see comments for details

Usually there’s nothing “life changing” if the property owner or business sells. Most often than not the property is sold to a different landlord, or the business gets a different owner and it’s usually business as usual with minor changes. This happens very often with small businesses. If the place is getting shutdown , you have a legal right both federally and by state regulations to be notified and compensated in the event of being unemployed. Everyone on this sub wants to automatically demonize employers and businesses without literally knowing anything. There are valid reasons to be upset and employers and businesses, this is not one of them.
