Parents making great financial decisions for kids

My parents had one kid. Pretty sure this saved them a ton of money. They could buy smaller cheaper cars. We lived in an apartment for a while until my parents could find a bargain price for a home ( this was early 00s). Living in a 2 bedroom apartment isn't terrible for a family of 3.

Plus when I was in preschool, my mom was able to go back to college and get an American degree (nurse). If she had baby to take care of, she probably would not have gone back to school. My dad could not afford preschool, daycare, and tuition on top of living expenses.

Nursing degree was great for my mom. She worked part time nights til I was 12. Then she worked full time. All the money she made went into investments.

Parents are wealthy now due to investments. They paid for college, wedding, 100k down payment.

I also plan on one kid.
