Chemotherapy can cause hair loss, fatigue, and lowered immune system response. But we still accept it as treatment because the alternative is much worse. The same way that gender dysphoria, if left deliberately untreated as conservatives want to, leads to depression and suicide. But I’m sure to conservatives, trans kids killing themselves is a feature rather than a bug because they’re sadistic psychopaths who want anyone different from them to suffer. Which is why I won’t ever trust them when they say that they’re willing to leave trans adults alone and merely want to hurt kids, because I know they’re just itching to torture and harass trans adults in any way they can because the underlying motivation is the same. There’s no difference between mainstream conservatives and the far right anymore, maybe there never was to begin with
