People of Reddit! When did you begin feeling like an "adult"?

17 years old. Was the only one working in the house (helped pay bills) while going to school, doing sports, taking care of my father who had liver cancer, and starting a relationship with a girl. Up by 730 to go to school. Out of school by 345. Then it was either basketball practice till 6, then work till 1-2am. Or just go straight to work till 1-2am. Then walk home to help my dad go to bathroom and other things. Be done with that by 3-4 am. Then go to sleep, (Sometimes he would call me asking for help again a few hours later. Even though my mom was right next to him, and my brother had been home all day playing games, he knew I would do it.) Then up by 730. I'd be lucky to get 3 hours of sleep a night. That was 8 years ago. Dad is healthy. Brother is no longer as lazy. Mom is mom. And I have just bought a house(not expensive). The girl who I was starting a relationship with 8 years ago is currently in the living room watching Scooby Doo. I've been told I'm a 35 year old 25 year old.
