People who had covid-19 or know someone who did how bad was it?

My cousin, in her mid 30’s was diagnosed with COVID. She started showing symptoms in mid April. She started with a fever, sore throat, and dry cough. She developed shortness of breath within a day or two. She felt very weak and tired. She felt bad enough to go to the emergency room. They told her she was young and healthy enough to fight it at home and refused to give her a test. Sent her home with Tylenol. She couldn’t move around a lot because she was very short of breath. The fever went away but then it came back. The chest pain and tightness also felt worse. She also had some painful body aches. She went back to the ER where they determined she had bronchitis. It was during this second visit she got tested. She came back positive for COVID. They gave her antibiotics and medications for the pain. Another week or so went by and the fever went away. The pain she felt in her body got worse though. She had a pain in her sternum that traveled to her neck. She couldn’t really move one of her arms either because of the pain. She was too uncomfortable to sleep. She went back for a third trip to the ER. They didn’t find anything but gave her a combination of meds to help with pain and help her sleep. Overall, was sick for almost a month and she had a rough time. Being sick was hard but she said being isolated and alone for a month was hard too. She retested earlier this week. She is now negative. Her sister and niece have now tested positive. They were asymptomatic as of a couple of days ago.
