People who live in a rural area/out in the country, what will "city folk" never understand?

I grew up in a small town hours from any sizable population. Not sure if my answer completely counts, but I'll attempt it.

When talking to people who grew up in big cities, they can never grasp that rural/small town life is enjoyable for many people. They always ask some version of the question "don't you realize that city life is superior?" It's hard to get through to them people actually like small towns. It's not that we like it because we don't know better, or that we secretly want to live in the city. Small town life isn't an inferior or watered down version of city life. It's just different, and we like it for what it is. (Community, a sense of freedom, outdoor activities, slower pace, etc.)

People who grew up in cities often ask questions like: What do you do if you want to go the mall? What if you want to go to a museum? What about clubbing, attending professional sports, fancy restaurants, concerts, amusement parks? Well the answer is these things are not part of our daily lives, and nobody cares. We're not into that stuff enough to need 24/7 access to it. If you really want to do them, maybe you take a weekend trip to the nearest major city, but for the most part you don't feel like you're missing anything.
