People who refer to Trump as a fascist are morons.

I think a lot of people don't really understand what fascism is about.

I don't think Trump is a fascist, but he is going down that path.

Fascism isn't only about totalitarianism, especially to start with, otherwise no one would support it.

He is deregulating the country as it benefits corporations, and moving blame for all the countries problems on to a minority, in Germany it was Jews, or Communists.

In America today, Trumps most vocal supporters are white supremacists, they think all the countries problem are caused by Muslims or Liberals.

People get to hung up on the external appearance of fascism in the early twentieth century, but Fascism was a reaction to something, therefore its appearance was dictated by the times.

The real enemy for them in Germany were organised Communists, demobbed from the army, armed and trained, most men in the country, on both sides, were war veterans, this dictated the militaristic nature of the movement.

Fascism in America, if it comes will be different, the Soldier worship, and extreme nationalism is already there, but the enemy is college educated liberals, rather than working class, military trained Communists like in the past, so the nature of them will be to counter that.

Trump does use fascist rhetoric, and surrounds himself with much more questionable people, he is exactly what I would expect to see from a budding American Fascist movement, its not there yet, but he is walking a dangerous path.
