I'm a Tory - Ask me Anything

I agree with you that people who think labour will suddenly fix the NHS are deluded. Any pay rise will be wiped out be an ever higher tax rise. Maybe less so for nurses and people on the lower end but most doctors will earn 80k+ and they will come for us.

As bad as the NHS and Boris has been, from a financial point of view as a locum GP earning £120K+ a year Labour would be a poor financial decision.

I too am a conservative but as with your the current crop are an embarrassment but when compared to the manifesto in 2019 it was an easy choice for me.

I'm here to look after myself. The greater NHS/public services isnt my problem. I am here to look after my family and work comes second.

I also want freedom of choice. I would much rather pay less tax, receive less from the state and have more choice how money is spent. I appreciate for some they get more then they pay in tax, but again that's not my burden to bear.
