It was a Monday and I was looking forward to the end of the week because Blizzcon was going to begin Friday. Towards the end of the day I felt a pain in my stomach and hadn't taken a shit in 2 days. Coworkers said I was just constipated, but I knew this pain was not just from constipation. I figured it was my appendix and went to urgent care and they said it could be your appendix, but it could also just be gas and he told me right you will know the pain if it was your appendix, it will be crippling. So I went home and not even an hour later the real pain started, I couldn't even sit up without almost crying, but I managed to get my way into the parking garage to the car with the help of my girlfriend and off to the hospital we went.
After waiting 7 hours in the middle of the night to get a room at 11am I had surgery and all went well, but it was extremely painful to move around after. I ended up being in the hospital until Wednesday so I went home to recover as best as I could for Friday. At this point, passing gas, urinating and just the bowel movements were painful as fuck. I still hadn't taken a shit, but they said this was normal and I was taking pain medication which slows down bowel movements so I figured it was normal and continued eating mostly liquids. Thursday comes and I can't really walk so we get a wheel chair to roll me about at Blizzcon and then finally Friday comes and I'm hyped, I take my pain meds and have a good day at blizzcon.
Friday night when I got home I took some laxatives and stool softener. I hadn't taken a shit in around 6~ days and to me that was pretty worrisome. I read the box for laxatives and it says take 1-3 depending on how bad the constipation is. I figure 6~ days without shitting seems pretty bad so I take 3 and go to sleep. At around 7am I take a shit and I was like holy fuck it worked, it felt amazing although still really painful. We get packed up and then head off to blizzcon again. About 10 minutes into this 40 minute drive I feel like I have to shit again, I try and hold it though, but its incredibly painful. After holding it I would have around 3-4 minutes of peace then it would come back and it would hurt even more. I started screaming in the car AHHHHHHHHH AHH, trying to hold it in. When we get to blizzcon my girlfriend lets me out as close to the place as she could and I hobble into the closest bathroom. There's a line of 4 people in front of my. Two people finished up and the next 2 go in, I'm next in line, but these fucks take so long I just shit myself right there. I couldn't hold it in anymore. Surprisingly no one noticed so I went to the bathroom stall to see what he damage was. It was severe. I panic and discarded my shitty boxers on the ground and text my girlfriend telling her I shit myself and to bring the wheelchair. When she arrives I come out and sit down on the wheelchair so no one really knows I shit myself other than the smell, but were moving quick. We go back to the car and head home. On the way home I have to shit again and end up shitting in a bag in the car twice. Great times at blizzcon.
