Welcome to the internet, where it’s pointless to get upset because you’ll never know someone’s story from the brief interactions you have with them.

You’re policing too, if you can’t see that then that’s the issue, isn’t it? Just because you’re disabled doesn’t mean you speak for all disabled. You’re doing no favours either.

Like you completely brushed over the person who brought up person-centred language as if it wasn’t legit because that’s not how you identify yourself, completely ignoring the fact that people lobbied HARD to work on the way people perceive people with disabilities. Your experience isn’t everyone’s experience, so don’t talk like it is.
