I just disagree with the idea of it being okay for a class to be bad

That's the thing; I'm not saying that. A hob not being in the meta doesn't mean it's bad, as I stated. I doubt WHM is suddenly going to be horrible after AST gets buffed.

AST getting buffed =/= making WHM horrible. Most of these changes are going to focus on making Nocturnal Sect actually viable, so I don't know why everyone is coming to the wrong conclusion that WHM is just going to be terrible. Because the cards are getting buffed? As it stands the cards, personally, I feel are nice but severely underwhelming for how many skills that they use. WHM brings too much reliability to forsake for some niche card use. If they bring them up to where they need to be, as in, a serious contender between "Do we want strong, reliable healing or strong, reliable party buffs?" then it'll be fine.

Even if the card buffs are great, I doubt WHM is just suddenly going to not be taken/be awful in the eyes of many like AST was. Hell, I'm sure SE took into account the balance between Diurnal Sect and WHM and didn't overbuff them as such. I think people are overreacting a bit to this. That was the point of my post, really.
