I am aware that people divorcing multiple times skew the statistics a bit making the odds look worse. I'd claim that people are scared of the intensity of damage from divorces making it feel like playing Russian roulette, some people don't even want to have kids any more because of that. The fact that more women are pushing for marriage than men are eager to get married hints that women perceive this as better deal for them, so my guess is NonArtistCommenter is a woman.
