Plural positivity conference

Everyone was aware that gay people existed, trans people less so but they were part of LGBT+ which made things comparatively better even if it was still an uphill battle. But tulpas, how many people do you know outside of tulpamancy that know of them? How many of those people know others? It won't take long to reach 0, they're not commonplace, they're not known by people, that makes things much much much worse. The fight for LGBT+ acceptance and rights was much longer than the couple of years that showed this much bigger change societally, but this fight for tulpas..... Yeah..... Not looking bright.

Regardless, there's all the issues that will inevitably arise, and all the misconception and just.. abuse directed at tulpas, in all forms. Because humans are asses.

I still disagree with the notion that it should be put into the spotlight in that way. It just is not worth it, how could it be? Especially considering that the current culture is big on acceptance in the English speaking world, while elsewhere it will often be lacking. I still believe it'll backfire regardless if it isn't kept in the realm of psychology, and then branches off. Any movement to help tulpas, to me, just ends up being a movement hurting them. Giving more things for the phobics to be phobics about. I'm just looking at it realistically, through the POV of someone who's grown up somewhere where acceptance of any kind is a rarity. We've not even caught up with trans issues, introducing tulpas is likely just going to make everything else worse.
