Polling Megathread [11/06]

If there is one thing I must say about this election it's that our population is dangerously bad at identifying ignorance; for all the negativity around Clinton and her lockout of Bernie Sanders (who, by all accounts, should have won), mass media and the clowns who run the GOP have utterly failed in their civil duty to establish Trump as anything more than a ranting imbecile with zero education, zero qualifications, and zero integrity.

I'm disappointed, as a 26 year old Obama voter, to see the disarray caused by this election cycle; I'm disappointed to see 18 year old kids walking around harboring thoughts of rebellion and seriously considering Trump votes (as funny as these "can't stump the trump" memes are) without any regard for the consequences.

I'm disappointed to see the Republican party still capable of navigating a presidential race and I HOPE that America's learned its lesson about the Republicans by now. My worst nightmare is that we don't learn a thing and these morons are still allowed to take a single action towards policy writing in this country.

I've seen this battle between rich and poor play out; the battle for living minimum wages, the battle over the 1% who control the wealth, and so-on, but I'm of the firm belief that this election is NOT the time or the place to be continuing that battle; Trump is too dangerous, too idiotic, too fucking stupid, to ever be taken seriously by anybody and it breaks my heart to see even a single supporter in the real world. Where we Americans are mocked for our stupidity, where we're mocked for our lack of intelligence among a majority of the developed world, we somehow manage to allow even a single one of these awful fools to represent us for even a single day, and enforce the belief that America is getting more and more stupid.

If anyone reads this, honestly, please value intelligence. Please have a mind to identify which one of the Presidential candidates is "intelligent" and which one isn't. It is not a question of moral ethics but a question of simple science and common fucking sense. Bernie Sanders should have won, and I'll be the first to champion the next true intellectual in our political system, just like the people who supported Sanders, just like the people who support Gary Johnson, just like the people who formerly supported Ron Paul. These men are doing their best to change the system and their influence is only growing.
