Positivity, Negativity, Life and Phish

That's awesome man. I'm in a similar spot, but not quite as many shows. Into them since the same time, tho. So many tapes.

I've been a fluffer the whole way through 3.0, but I can also be critical. End of the day, they've given us so much. I do what I can to just appreciate where they are on the journey. I felt since 09 that we were building to something, and last year was really something special.

There's an ebb and a flow, and these guys are no spring chickens. Trey isn't as fiery as he used to be. His fingers won't allow it. And that's fine, the other three are at their best right now. And I really like the older wiser cohesion. When they're on, they are ON.

I'm also a fan of the new music and albums. They're not anything that would have gotten me hooked in 92, but they're good albums. Just different. They have their entire history behind them. I like to imagine what if the Stones released Big Boat in 95? People would have gone nuts for it, I think.

They stumbled a bit between 09 and 12, but I think it's been solid ever since. I trust in the long term. They haven't let me down yet.

Take it easy!
