I've got a few fanboy scenarios in mind:
Kevin Owens enters early in the match and clears a ring full of low- and mid-carders. He takes out the next two entrants one by one a la Austin in 1997, maybe cutting a short promo in between a la Punk in 2010. 10...9... He's clearly feeling it. 7...6... He knows it's his night. 3...2...1...buzzer... Sami Zayn's music hits. After some back and forth, Sami eliminates Owens, seemingly getting revenge for the beatings he took at three consecutive TakeOvers.
A mid-Rumble pause with four former indie babyfaces--perhaps Neville, Zayn, Bryan, and Cesaro--looking at each other, around at the crowd, appreciating how they've all made it to the biggest stage together, smiling as they soak up the moment. The crowd eats it up. Then Sheamus enters and ruins everything.
A ring full of main eventers awaits the number 29 entrant when Roman Reigns' music hits. The crowd probably boos vociferously. Having learned their lesson from the previous two Rumbles, every Superstar turns to the usual aisle and prepares gang up on him. Only it's not Roman Reigns, it's Romien Reignsdow. After some brilliant comedy work, Reignsdow is eliminated. Then Roman Reigns' music hits for number 30. The remaining competitors turn to the aisle again, but having seen what was in store for him two minutes earlier, Reigns fakes everyone out by entering the conventional way. He eliminates a few men and soon enough the match is down to its final four...
Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and John Cena. It's clear a 3-on-1 is about to happen, but who's going to get it. Ambrose and Reigns huddle up, and for comedic effect they mime eliminations with Rollins' and Cena's mannerisms. Camera cuts to Cena who looks confused, then to Rollins who look nervous, back to Ambrose and Reigns who turn to Rollins with familiar hateful looks in the eyes, and finally back to Cena who smiles. Just as Rollins is about to be triple-teamed, Ambrose and Reigns pivot towards Cena. A beat passes for the crowd to pop, and all three former Shield members do the You Can't See Me gesture, attack Cena, and set up for a triple powerbomb onto a steel chair. As Rollins and Ambrose lift Cena into position, Rollins gives Ambrose a kick to the gut, and uses leverage to eliminate Reigns and Cena at the same time. Rollins celebrates himself for a moment, before turning around to see Ambrose... seething... chair in hand. Dean swings, Rollins ducks and counters forcing Dean to drop the chair and keel over, Rollins hits the ropes setting up for the first curb stomp in nine months, Dean counters--DIRTY DEEDS! DIRTY DEEDS! DIRTY DEEDS ON THE STEEL CHAIR! IT'S AMBROSE!---ROLLINS IS ELIMINATED! ROLLINS IS ELIMINATED! DEAN AMBROSE IS GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA!
Or whatever. I don't care.
