It’s become common place for me to feel completely frustrated by our games now. If Setien continues I will dread watching every game. He just has no ability to affect change or control a game from the bench. I thought his line up was good to start. He’ll inject youth and width later when Napoli is tired... but no, What about his tactics and philosophy are cruyffian exactly? 3-1 lead so let’s sit back and absorb pressure for the entire 2nd half and hope 30+ yr old Messi and Suarez do something on the break? This game was crying out for youth, width and control in the middle. So instead of injecting Fati, Puig he waits... waits... and waits some more and after Napoli has put on 4 subs, he makes 1, for Monchu in his first Ever UCL game in which we’re not in control at all, for what?! To Absorb more pressure, add another body in midfield! 2nd sub, same thing, another defender for attacker. We really Needed to take the game to them, Fati to make runs from the wing, Puig to create and hold the ball better, actually make Napoli think about more than just attacking over and over. But nothing, it seemed so obvious. I just don’t get it... we’ll see how Bayern goes, but this does not bode well.
