Setting his other posts aside, the guy has a good point. The examples he gives are a bit misguided, but he has the right idea, imo. I think calling a white guy calling all black people cotton pickers is just as racist as a black guy calling all white people slave owners, practically speaking. Now obviously there’s nuance to this, and the former is more likely to cause someone to call “racist” as they rightly should, and the latter is less likely as a lot of people are gonna see it as punching up. Personally I think both should be called as racist because they both are, by definition, racist comments. If anyone believes differently I’m open to discussion
