/r/Canada going full mask off "Reverse Racism" against white people again

I would say that people expressing outrage is a sign that it's working, since it's taking a tool away from bad actors.

Its really depends on the way you see it, beacuse meanwhile, yes, there are people who argue that the "old" definition should remain just so that afirmative action is considered racist, or something between tjose lines, id also say that there are people who defend the "new" definition, just beacuse they dislike white people and do not want to be considered racists.

Obviously, those are not equal, but two """"""oposite sides""""" have people who want this for a bad reason, but again, both reasons are not equaly as bad.

But you also have the oposite situation:

People defend the "old" definition beacuse they want to be respected, meanwhile other people defend the "new" definition beacuse they dont want affirmative action to be viewed as racist.

In other words: people defend definitions for many diferent reasons, some bad, some good, both definitions have some flaws in the end of the day.

Im not saying that one definitions is better than the other or that the reasons people defend one over another are more valid or not valid, this is not up to me to decide

Ps: i gave some pretty examples lmao, idk how to explain this in a good way, just hope you get what i mean, cheers
