Precognition is the ability to see in the very near future. Sometimes within minutes to hours ahead. This is a different type of prophecy as it is a knowing that unfolds very close to the real event.

I have tried to figure out what causes this my whole life. I suspect it is triggered by an emotional state. I wonder if its attached to being open minded, not caring about the moment, and not thinking about it. I wonder if being fey is the mood more than anything else. And yet I am still unable to know when it will happen, why it happens, or any other way to control it. It happens all the time for me. But I am unable to deterrmine if something I say is in fact a preconception at the time I say it. Only the odds are really great when the time comes. Sometimes, happening one right after the other. Its like being in the "zone".

An example: My husband and I use to host poker games at our house each friday. One night.....

I said, "Billy answer the phone its your wife". And it was true.

Next I was getting a bit bored with the game and Billy had a habit of talking smack while dealing cards. Right next to me was Denise, and me being in a very playful mood, said "i can name the next three cards off the top of the deck". Denise says "bullshit" so we bet on it. Just before each card was turned over I was suppose to say the card.

First card, "its a 2". correct Second card, "its a 2". correct Third card, "its a 2". correct

Denise paid up and said that was impossible. I said it could be worse. Before the night was through I would be dealt a royal flush. He said no way.

An hour or so later in five card draw the dealer dealt me a hearts royal flush. It was jacks or better to win and because everyones hands were bad they all threw in their cards and folded. Darn! I couldn't even play that hand.

Later I made a bet that I could sink a bank shot into the side pocket in our pool table. I am a lousy pool player sometimes everyone put their bets up. The shot was perfectly done and I knew it the moment the cue stick hit the cue ball.

It was a night I couldn't lose. How did I do it? I don't know. It just happens. And it happens all the time including events that are to show up. But I think it takes a playful attitude to ignite it in me.
