Presenting a different perspective on Jenelle and Jace from a long time teen mom fan. Going against the grain here due to all the Jenelle bashing.

My opinion is she doesn't really want Jace. None of her actions show that she has made strides or efforts to bring her firstborn home to her. She has sanitized her social media presence, and stayed out of trouble with the law briefly. But one could argue that benefits her and is why she has done it. If she wanted her son, she would have moved closer to him, not further away. Full stop. She actually bought land and built a house far from the child she says she wants back. I just don't buy it. She wants people to think she wants him back, it seems to me.

You want to prove to a judge that not only do you want custody but what's best for your child as well? You move to be close to that child. That is the biggest flag to me, I'm sorry. I cannot believe Jenelle cares about anything other than herself and how everyone sees her at this point. She had many chances to attend hearings, move closer, be active with Jace and his school, go to therapy with Barb, etc. She did none of these things. She was in NYC or LA during Jace's soap box derby, but posted on social media and made it appear like it took place at a different time. Someone looked it up online, and the date was not what she said it was. Then we saw the episode of that weekend and she was going to Cancun, I believe, and Barb was upset because Jace had been told his mom would be there. We all saw the insta posts about the wonderful family day on the lake, then we saw the nightmare it really was on the show.

She blames Barb for court cases being continued, when all of the online resources show it's her putting them off, and she's even stated she was "too busy" at that time to attend. If your child is your priority, you are not too busy. I don't mean for any of this to sound mean, I just really honestly don't think Jenelle wants custody. I think David might, though..
