The President just urged his supporters to vote twice in his election, and I feel a bit peckish.

The point I'm making is that we agree that there should be restrictions on voting. We just disagree on which restrictions should be implemented. An 8 year old should not be voting, because most of them have no idea what they are voting for, and the same exact thing goes for those with low iqs. If we can agree that an 8 year old should not be allowed to vote because they can't make those responsible decisions i don't see why we can't agree that an adult who is just as irresponsible and ignorant also should not be allowed to vote. There are basic generalized tests that could be distributed that wouldn't allow any shady business, ya know.
What are the 3 branches of government? What are their functions? Who is the current vice president? How does a bill become law? Simple shit, if someone can't even answer those questions they have no place voting. Just as a child doesn't really know whats in their best interest, neither do stupid people.

Trump getting elected is a prime example of why there should be voting restrictions based on basic knowledge. This isn't about "you don't agree with me so you're wrong and shouldn't be allowed to vote". This is about the survival of our democracy and the human species, its bigger than you or I. This transcends basic Democrat republican squabble. Trumps election is a prime example of why stupid people shouldn't be allowed to vote.
