A $1,300 lien is holding up sale. We weren't informed until the day before closing.

It's in West Virginia.

Nobody told us anything about the lien. They aren't telling us any options. They're just saying to wait. But wait until when? We already passed the 24-48 hours they said it would take. And it turns out they had begun this process two weeks ago and never told us there was a problem.

As far as I know, they're waiting on the attorney... whom they can't contact. But I'll look into these options, thank you. Maybe they're just trying to run the clock for 72 hours before they move on anything on their end. It's just frustrating and it seems like they consider us the problem for not waiting longer.

To be honest, I don't think we've been told everything either.
