Alright, so I’ve been unlucky trying to secure the ever elusive PS5 preorder. I keep telling myself not to worry or stress, but catch myself constantly checking all the stores apps for more preorders. Just when I’ve started to come to terms with waiting on a possible launch day purchase, target or Walmart will show the option to preorder. I instantly get a rush of adrenaline as I frantically try to order it before it goes out of stock, only to be greeted with a notice that the item can’t be shipped/ordered to the location of my choosing, and then it is no longer able to be preordered. I assume it’s a glitch, but I could very well just not be quick on the draw so to speak (highly doubt it’s the location/store I’ve chosen because I NEVER have this issue ordering anything else). Basically, I just want to know if anyone has any information on possible future preorders. Everything has been quiet for the last few days but I heard a rumor that GameStop could be taking in store preorders this upcoming Friday. If so, is this going to continue in the future? I live somewhat isolated away from major towns/cities that had major retailers and I work during the week in a town still quite a drive from any of these stores. If there is still hope to preorder I will continue checking up but it’s getting exhausting. I just want to secure a preorder for the peace of mind in knowing the exact date.
