Can someone tell me it gets better please?

I've always had clean and clear skin for most of my life. But last year, things got worse post-Covid because of a lot of stressful events in the family. I had a terrible breakout all over my face. And this was a month before my wedding. I didn't do a facial and relied on my makeup artist to cover it up; she did a decent job.
Now about my recovery - I've always trusted a dermatologist's suggestion over looking at the most popular skincare options online. I followed the routine shared by my doctor and brought my acne under control. The ointments suggested had benzoyl peroxide, adapalene, and kojic acid as active ingredients.
After recovering from that episode, I continued to use my favourite Forest Essentials products (I'm an FE fanatic, and my skin loves their products), especially their Neem lepam, Tejasvi brightening balm, and lavender neroli day cream. It did wonders for my oily-dry skin by helping fade acne marks and controlling breakouts. Also, I exfoliate my skin with lactic acid once in 2-3 weeks. And use everything Forest Essentials for most of my skincare routine, like cleanser, day cream, night cream, toner, etc.
So my sincere advice is not to get bogged down by a stressful acne episode and to consult a dermatologist as early as possible. Once you control it, you can experiment with good skincare products suggested online. Also, the more we stress, the worse the breakouts get. Hence, try to maintain good mental health by working out, meditating, journaling, etc.

I wish you a speedy recovery and happy skin. :)
