1: AWBs do nothing to stop or even dampen mass shootings. Until recently the US wasn't even in the top 10 list for mass shootings numbers or death toll. We still aren't #1. Also two of the most notable mass shootings in US history happened during our national assault weapons ban.

2: Previous AWBs have not been effective. See: the entire country from 1994-2004, or any state that's tried it since.

3: Uvalde was bad because the on scene commander was a giant fucking pussy who happily let children die while he prevented real cops from going in to help. It had nothing to do with the shooter's weapons. The cops were ready to go in, but the shitbag in charge didn't let them.
