Hi guys, I'm relativity new and un-educated on the matter of speakers and what I can /should do with them in a setup. I'm wondering if anyone sees any concern or has any advice about my current setup.

Right now I am using a Creative Soundblaster X7 plugged into my computer to power:

-A pair of Klipsch R15M -And a pair of Sennheiser HD600 headphones

The day I purchased my speakers I ran to Target and purchased some cheap $10 speaker wire to hook them up to the X7 DAC/Amp. Would better speaker wire improve quality?

Is my current DAC/Amp okay for the speakers? I know the DAC/Amp is kind of gimmicky, but it was purchased secondhand and cheaper than a used Schiit stack or similar.

Finally, I notice that my headphones require around 70 volume to sound enjoyable, whereas the speakers are loud enough even at volume 5 and become intolerably loud at volume 10. Is this normal?
