Question RE secularism of suicide hotlines.

Can only speak personally of Pieta. I think it can depend on which of their centres you attend, and which counsellor you're paired with.

My experience - there was no pushing religion on me. 99.9% of the therapy was centred around my recovery. That other bit was about a list of areas in life (others being things like family, friends, hobbies, religion/god, etc... can't remember them all verbatim at this stage). Anyway, the idea was to come up with stuff for each area. I explained I'm an atheist and the counsellor was sound out, said to just think of it as "something bigger than myself" and didn't put any pressure on me over it. All that said, I've also talked to people who had more pushy and/or religious therapists, but I think most will just want to help you tbh.

My advice - Go for it. If someone tries to push religion on you, you can always ask for a different therapist citing that as reason... No counsellor should be pushing their personal views on you.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me. Best of luck :)
