Why do I quit my jobs?

Im 37 and have worked at to many places to count. Where i am at currently i dont mind. Its not perfect but it pays well and i get along with everyone.

My problem is/was similar. I had a hard to doing something that i had no interest in, taking orders from someone I do not respect, in an environment that was made to feel like a prison to a degree. When it comes down to it, I just hate working, the whole idea of a "job". Id rather not do it, but its a must to be a functioning person in our society.

You'll hear a lot of artists say similar things. Comedians bill burr and joe rogan talk about it. They couldnt stand doing everyday jobs so they took a shot at a career in comedy. Last night i saw green day in montreal and billie joe talked about the exact same thing.

If you have the means to do so, follow a passion. It may mean being broke for a while, but it will be worth it if you dedicate yourself to it. Theres no guarentee of success monitarily, but you'll be happier making smaller amounts of money doing what you enjoy, rather than larger amounts stacking boxes in a warehouse.
