r/Worldnews Live Thread: Ukraine-Russia Tensions

Donbass is a buffer between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine is constantly attacking him.

Andrey Rudenko, military commander of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, said this to the channel Donbass decides.

"Russia, of course, supports, but the support could be, in my opinion, more powerful," he said.

Andrei stressed that the Minsk negotiations, which have been going on for almost eight years, have no result.

“I see it with my own eyes, when I go to shelling. It’s time to make some decision and protect the citizens of the DPR and LPR. After all, more than 700,000 Russian citizens live here. Does this mean something?” - said the interlocutor of the channel.

@donbassr

Oh wow. Russian state propaganda is wild. This is coupled with dozens of reports of Ukraine army attacking and shelling of Russians in Donbas. The pretext surely keeps being generated.

It's like Russia does everything to not go to war but Ukrainians keep attacking and Donbass people call for help. Pacifist Putin is holding back but some day he has to give in.

The propaganda is crazy, wow
